When used with heavy duty blades, it cuts smoothly from the carpets backing, will not shear yarns.
Springs either side of cutter hold carpet down when being cut.
The thin steel row guide follows in the rows of carpet.
The steel foot plate fastened on the base reduces wear and extends the life of the cutter.
Two large thumb knobs allow simple, fast blade changes.
